CNET Senior Editor Missing

James Kim, CNET Senior Editor, and his family are missing. They took a road trip this weekend from their home in San Francisco to the Pacific Northwest. They were last seen Saturday, November 25 in Portland, Oregon. They were driving a 2005 silver Saab station wagon with license plate “DOESF.”

If you have any information as to the Kim family’s whereabouts, please contact the SFPD at 415-558-5508 during normal business hours, and 415-553-1071 after hours.

Our prayers are with James and his family.

Also, I think you made a mistake, you said he’d last be seen October 25th, I think you meant November 25th?

With all that bad weather out there, I hope they’re safe but just in a place where communications are hindered. Will keep a good thought for all involved.

I hope they find them! Hopefully they didn’t have an accident or worse. I guess I’ve seen too many movies but lots of crazy things really do happen. I’ll pray for them!

This is really sad. I really enjoy watching James on his C|Net videos like his recent ones on the Microsoft Zune. I hope for the safe return of James and his family.

Also, I want to commend all the gadget blogs. It’s great that all (GeekBrief, CrunchGear, CNet, Crave, Engadget) have posted to help in the rescue of James and his family. Bravo.
