Which Format is Right For You?

We currently offer five formats: Extra-Large, medium, small, Windows Media, and Audio Edition.

Extra-Large
Our Extra-Large format is the ultimate feed. It’s the highest resolution we provide and it’s optimized for Apple TV. The feed includes every show we produce.
Here’s the link to subscribe in iTunes and, here’s the RSS link, if you’d like to catch it some other way. Now that the Xbox 360 supports .mp4, this is probably the best feed for Xbox 360 users as well.

Medium
Medium is the most versatile, and the most popular, format. It works on iPods, iPhones, PSPs, and it will look ok on a TV or computer screen. It does not stream.

Small Format
This version streams, works on the iPod, and it’s tiny on a PC. It also works on several phones that support .mp4 video.

Windows Media
This is best for Windows users who don’t like iTunes. It’s optimized for the XBox 360 and it also streams. Since the 360 now supports .mp4 playback, we’re thinking about formating this version for Windows Mobile Devices.

Audio Edition
If you want to listen to Geek Brief while driving, this is the one for you. It’s dangerous to drive and watch GeekBrief.TV at the same time! :) Most people who subscribe to the Audio Edition also subscribe to one of the video formats as well, so that they can go back and look at anything that peaked their interest.

Nokia N95
If you have a Nokia N95, this is the best option to watch it on that device. You can access GBTV from the N95’s Video Center. Look for PodShow TV. We’ll be there.

Nokia N800
