Wow, that Fring thing is seriously cool! Finally a way to use Google Talk on my mobile via Wi-Fi. Simply awesome, although it’s still in beta.

@BPhelmet: yep, I read every one. I have to admit, I’m not as good as I used to be at responding, but I try. :)

The wii charging stations are neat, but if you don’t have room for the bases (or just don’t want it), I would look at sanyo eneloop NiMH’s. They are the new long lasting ones… as in, will hold up to 85% of their charge even after a year of sitting there.

While that is an advertising claim, they have seemed to fair well after a month sitting, and then being put into the wiimote. Better than some NiMH’s I’ve used before. And I’ll plug thomas distributing for where to get em :)

I think there are other’s out there, not just sanyo, but they were white and blue, matched well w/ the wii :)

Itunes doesn’t seem to be seeing any new episode ;)

I’m also having trouble with the itunes feed. even when it sees a new ep, it downloads it, then deletes it claiming it can’t be played on my ipod.

Glad I am not the only one then…

I ended up going to the store, searching for the podcast and clicked on the “Get Episode” button to get #141. An unsubscribe, and resubscribe didn’t work, nor did a normal refresh :(

Let’s get a Wii feed instead. :) (Actually, that wasn’t even funny)

Everyone who’s having trouble with the iPod feed - Did you upgrade to the newest version of iTunes that was just released?

Is anyone having trouble with other feeds, like the Large Format feed?

I have NOT updated yet. (learned my lesson last time). I got 141 fine, but this morning, I’m getting the errors.

I have downloaded the latest ITunes [ver 7.1.0.59] and was unable to download your latest show. The last show I have is “A Wii Little Brief” 3.5.2007.

For the Nyko wii remote stations, do the remotes fit with the lanyards still on them? Or do you have to take the lanyards off every time you put the remotes on the charger?

Cali it not a problem that you are sucking down the SPLENDA flavours as long as you are not sucking them straigh from the package with a straw.

For the longest time the iPod feed was working on my PSP. Then it wasn’t. Then for a week or so it worked again. Today it is having problems. :( Quit toying with my emotions Geekbrief. There was nothing better than setting the PSP to download automatically and having geekbrief waiting for me.

My issue was before and after the update.

I tried it before, and it didn’t work, then updated and tried it again after. Still didn’t work.

It works if you did what I did in the end, but that isn’t really an auto subscribed checking.

I’m sure it will be fixed for the next issue. Thanks for all the great work Neal, Cali!!

Thanks for the link to the Wii recharger station. I have been waiting for them to be released since I got my Wii last year. They where supposed to be out in January, a little late - but only had to buy a few sets of batteries. :)

Fring!!! I checked out Fring after I saw the episode, and I must say I have become OBSESSED with figuring out if it is possible to (or how well it might work) to only use skype for all of my calling from a cell phone. Since it is my only phone I am going to do a bunch of testing, but the possibility of cutting my phone bill in half and using even more of my smart phones potential is exciting. Thanks for giving us new and exciting things to think about during our work days.

I just got an e-mail from Amazon saying that they do not have enough of the Nyko Technologies’ Wii Charge Station on order to full all pre-orders!

!@#$%^&* i download like 2 gigs of videos (podcasts) and only 2 of them work(on my psp. others say “corrupt data”). HELP!!!
