The Microsoft rumors were true! The big announcement was a 30-inch table-like display that they call a Surface Computer. It’s a combination of Jeff Haan’s Multi-touch research that we showed you last year, and multi-touch research that Microsoft was working on. It’s scheduled to be released later this year, at an estimated price of $10,000.

Actually Cali your first pronunciation of Lara was fine, as she was born in good old England.
But don’t worry about it, as we are used to you lot over there slaughtering the Queen’s English…
(I mean, how does one justify pronouncing ’solder’ as ’sawder’; it has an ‘l’ dammit!)

And I have no idea why my text is coming out white on white; sorry for the double post…
grrr.
A b0rked link in the feed (large format; points to http://m.podshow.com/media/382/episodes/63091/), white-on-white text - it’s bugs week on GBTV!?
Is it me or are the show notes not really notes anymore? Are they located somewhere else since the site changes?
I usually listen to the briefs then read the notes for the links to things you discussed, but lately there is no additional information about the products.
This episode I am interested in the link to the make your own cool buttons thing.
Hey, just thought I’d let you know that your last link to Red Farret is being parsed incorrectly. The link for some reason is being placed after your web address in quotes.
Also, the white text on a white background is being caused by the following lines in your CSS file:
.commentlist p
{
line-height: 1.4em;
margin-bottom: 1em;
margin-left:20px;
color:white;
}
Just change “color:white;” to “color:black;” or something and the text should show up :).
Love the show! And the new site design is coming along nicely. Looking forward to the next brief.
Hehe, all comments are spoilers. That’s why they are white on white ;)
