I have to apologize for the length of this piece. PodShow asked me to promote Port City PD, which is a violent cop drama podcast. It’s impressive to the extent that they’re doing it on what I assume is a very low budget, but I’ve been trying to get them to sign Ricky Montalvo from The Daily Geek TV for weeks. It’s a much better show because it’s smart, and well done. It reminds me of This American Life, and what’s at the top of the iTunes chart? This American Life. So you guys bore the brunt of my frustration. It was a long day, but hopefully I was entertaining.

Might I suggest a little less eye makeup, or at least more subtle colours?
Keep up the good work guys. Been watching since the low fifties, the show is always entertaining and often informative. My wife often asks; “Is that the girl that doesn’t need to breathe again?” Lol.
It’s crazy that podshow makes you promote their junk. If I’d have been in your place, I’d have definitely said something but I think you droned on a little too long when a simple, “I think it sucks but podshow’s making me promote it” would have sufficed. Actually, your descriptive diatribe did more to promote the show than an “it sucks” would’ve done.
Oh please. Podshow has provided them the bandwidth to do this show. Promoting them isn’t as bad as shilling for some cancer causing sweetener, the disgusting Howard Stern of domain name providers, or commercials for HP streamed as episodes.
