Dr. John Papandriopoulos patented his methods for dramatically increasing DSL speed. He calls it SCALE and SCAPE. Facebook might be worth a batrillion dollars because of its “SocialAds” business. Eye-Fi brings Wi-Fi to any camera with an SD slot. Ion rips records straight to iPods and Apples sells over 2 million copies of Leopard since Friday.

The Opening music might be a little too loud if you’re wearing ear buds. Sorry about that. We had some trouble with missing loops in Soundtrack Pro and by the time we got everything worked out, it was late and we just wanted to upload. The music was composed by Geoff Smith and it reminds us of The Simpsons.

UPDATE: I’m trying out a comment app that I think will make discussion much more fun. Let me know what you guys think.

Oops! In the opening screen when you say "this is brief two-five-oh" the graphic that shows up reads brief #249. It must have been late ;)

Exactly! We need one other person on our team so we don't miss stuff like that.

Does it remind your of The Simpson's Theme?

I like the new comments theme. Looks pretty cool. Anyway, sure would be fun to help with your show. I'm pretty anal about things like having the correct show number, and fixing minute little edit glitches. Oh well, I can dream.

Eeek! I just watched #250 in HD. Trouble is I am only subscribed to the iPod feed. 119Mb makes for a fine looking Cali, but compression on intro & outro look rather icky. I'd like to stick to the ~10Mb files in future. M'kay? :-)

Yes, a very Simpsonian theme. That Geoff Smith is one versatile guy.

I’ve been playing with the comment app, trying different browsers. So far I’ve tried it with Internet Explorer 7, Opera 9.24, Safari 3.0.3 (on a PC), and the mobile Internet Explorer on my Treo. The only one I’ve found fully functioning for me is Safari. IE on the Treo doesn’t show the “Comments” link, so I can’t open the app from there. Opera doesn’t give me a scroll bar, so I can only see the top couple of comments. Maybe I’m missing a plug-in. Anyone else trying it on Opera? IE on a PC makes the app slightly wider than the window, necessitating horizontal scrolling in places. But worse, I can’t get it to accept a “Submit” (I get an “error on page”), so that pretty much sinks that. Everything seems to work in Safari, and the width of the app window fits the content. Anyone else care to share browser type and observations?

Hey Dave, this is Isaac Keyet in charge of the UI of the comment system… We have been having troubles with IE7/6 recently, due to the drop-out version of the comments (like this one) has been released. It's something I'm looking in to right now. Intense Debate is javascript driven and will therefore not work on mobile devices as of today, since they simly not render javascript. I am however typing this in Opera 9, and I do get a scrollbar.. I'll look into it more though, it's of course an important issue. Thankyou for sharing your problems with Intense Debate.

Did I never notice the old-school mic sitting on your desk before, or is that new? And, a better question, where in the world did you find it?

Thanks, Issac. My Opera 9 is freshly downloaded and set up with no plug-ins as yet and I may be missing something that would supply the scroll bar.
